THE OPPORTUNITY

The S2 Partnership is looking to expand its expert team of professional consultants and therefore, we are seeking a home-based Trainee Water Technician to join our expanding and successful consultancy team. The focus of this role is to undertake legionella surveys in commercial and residential buildings.
Part of the week will be site-based and part at home working on reports and assisting clients; diaries are pre-planned in advance to support and assist work-life balance. There will be a requirement to travel to our clients sites with this role, so you will need to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Competencies and Experience

You will have:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade C or above including English and Maths.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Good report writing, IT and communication skills
  • Willing to always learn
  • Good eye for detail
  • A strong work ethic, be willing to travel and be happy with occasional overnight stays
  • The legal right work in the UK

Desirable but not essential:

  • City and Guilds or Water Management Society or equivalent training course
  • Experience in undertaking site-based legionella risk assessments
  • Membership of WMS or equivalent
