TRAINER AND ASSESSORS – CERTIFICATE AND DIPLOMA PROGRAMS OF EMERGENCY HEALTHCARE

Seeking Diploma or Bachelor qualified EMTs, ESOs, Paramedics or PTOs, or other pre-hospital emergency care practitioners.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Industry qualifications: Bachelor of Paramedicine, or HLT51020 Diploma of Emergency Health Care, or HLT51015 Diploma of Paramedical Science, or equivalent.
  • TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Current or recent work experience in a pre-hospital emergency health care setting.
  • The ability to maintain standard clinical pre-hospital care competencies.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities

We are looking for capable, suitably qualified pre-hospital emergency care practitioners to deliver face-to-face training via our Intensive Workshop Program for Certificate III, Certificate IV, and Diploma Paramedical students.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Train and assess students at Clinical Workshops.
  • Assess and provide feedback to student theory assessments submitted online.
  • Teach students through online lectures, study groups and 1-on-1 phone calls.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of APC’s courses.
  • Maintain competency and currency as a Trainer & Assessor.
  • Participate in company-wide projects and events.
