Description

Contract Trainer and Operations Support – Ipswich / West Brisbane
F.A.S.T. Training Australia (formerly F.A.S.T. First Aid Training) is growing, and we’re looking for a Trainer and Assessor to join our team.
We do things differently—our training is practical, engaging, and delivered in a fun, relaxed style. Alongside First Aid, we also run 40+ courses and programs including Mental Health and Wellbeing programs for schools, workplaces, and community groups. Trainers interested in these programs will have the opportunity to deliver them (optional, not mandatory).
The position includes 20 hours per week of administration support work. This includes daily operations, assisting with marketing, and contributing to business growth projects. The Administration role is a blend of working in the office (Ipswich) and work from home. Combined, the role is approximately 20 hours admin and 10 hours training per week.

What we’re looking for:

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) – mandatory.
  • If you hold a Degree in Education, you may only need to complete 1–2 modules to qualify.
  • Previous training experience preferred, but attitude, reliability, and motivation matter most.
  • ABN, driver’s licence, and your own vehicle.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Must be based in Ipswich / West Brisbane.

What we offer:

  • Very attractive hourly rate (well above industry standard).
  • Referral bonus structure.
  • All equipment supplied.
  • Supportive team environment.
  • Free and easy access to Professional Development.
  • Opportunities to expand your training scope if you hold additional qualifications.
  • Opportunity to have impact on business growth and systems. Your opinion is not just welcomed it is expected.

Hours & Workload:

  • Training is primarily delivered in Ipswich and Brisbane.
  • Average of 8–14 courses per month (subject to availability).
  • Operations support work available for the right person (approx. 20 hrs/week).

To apply, please email your cover letter (addressing the key areas) and CV to Sarah Shaw at info@fasttrainingaustralia.com.au.
