TRAINER ASSESSOR

Mellex Group Limited is a family run company trading for over 20 years, in August 2021 the company acquired Leggat Plant Limited, Bridgend Hire Limited, and Bridgend Training Limited.
Bridgend Training is seeking an experienced Administrator at our training facility in Barrhead.
We are expanding and are seeking a Trainer/Assessor to join our team.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL THAT HAS EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING ALTHOUGH WE WILL CONSIDER TRAINING IN AREAS FOR THE RIGHT APPLICANT

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience of operating a wide range of construction machinery
• Excellent communication skills
• Confidence to deliver in a classroom based environment
• Assessor Award eg D32/33, L&D9DI
• Approved NPORS or CPCS trainer
• Knowledge of various awarding bodies
• Travelling will be required to offsite courses
  This role is based in Barrhead, with the hours of work being Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm
  A Company Vehicle will be provided

THE ROLE

We deliver a variety of CPCS/NPORS plant & constructions courses as well as Streetworks, EUSR courses and Health & Safety.
We also deliver SVQ qualifications.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for course delivery in line with various awarding bodies.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

• Deliver training and assessments to a high standard, ensuring that all training
• Organise, plan, and deliver high-quality SVQ qualifications, training and assessments.
• Assist with regular reviews of training course materials, to ensure they meet all requirements, standards and legislation.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with client, company and awarding body standards and specifications.
• Work against and comply with Mellex Business and Quality Management Systems.
• Maintain and update CPD.
• Ensure that all relevant training qualification are renewed when required.
• Delivering standardised training programmes, playing an active role in maintaining training materials, standards, and Awarding Organisation criteria to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant alongside the Training Manager.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards within the external training area and training rooms within the centre.
• Ensure the safety of all colleagues and candidates.
• Take responsibility of calibration and maintenance of any course equipment and tools.
• Communicate with the Training Manager and raise any issues or concerns.
