Are you passionate about developing others and making a real impact in a dynamic, hands-on environment? During this exciting time of transformation at Fortescue—where innovation is redefining the way we work—we’re looking for a motivated and experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our Training Delivery Team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with both customers and site teams to deliver high-quality training, including inductions, practical assessments, enterprise programs, and FMG-specific compliance training. Your strong on-site experience and proactive approach to safety and development will help ensure our workforce is skilled, competent, and future-ready.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessing or working towards
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Mining practices and technical systems with the ability to train content in a professional manner
  • HR Class Licence (Desirable)
  • High Risk Work Licence (Desirable) LF,WP
  • Ability to train and assess a wide range of competencies to assist with site requirements
  • A strong communicator who is confident with presenting to large audiences
  • Learning Management System experience and proficient with the Microsoft suite
  • Resource or Construction industry experience required
  • Microsoft Office suite and any Virtual training platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Working with our customers and providing training support
  • Delivering Inductions, Practical assessments and enterprise training
  • Delivery of FMG Specific Training and Assessments including Verification of Competency Assessments
  • Execute Training plans and schedules to site teams
  • Develop enduring relationships with onsite departments
  • Proactively drive training compliance to business requirements
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of training materials
