Our Opportunity Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.   Roster: 4D3R 4D3R 8D6R FIFO ex Perth    The Trainer & Assessor - Mine Control is responsible for delivering on-the-job training, mentoring and upskilling for Mine Controllers at Iron Bridge. The role ensures training content is site-specific, aligned to the HaulX framework, and supports the standardisation and optimisation of fleet management system capability within the control room environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver structured on-the-job training, coaching and mentorship to Mine Controllers Develop, review and maintain Iron Bridge–specific training materials aligned to HaulX Conduct assessments and re-assessments in accordance with Fortescue Training and Assessment Standards Drive skills standardisation and system optimisation within the control room environment Maintain accurate training documentation, compliance records and development plans Conduct quality assurance audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned to OEM, safety and Fortescue best practices Qualifications and Experience TAEDEL311 - Provide Work Skill Instruction and NAT10898001 - Carry Out Workplace Assessments (or equivalent), or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Proven experience using load and haul fleet management systems (e.g. HaulX, MineStar, Modular/Frontrunner, Leica Jigsaw) in a control room environment Demonstrated experience delivering engaging and effective training to diverse learner groups Strong understanding of blend utility and assignment decision-making (open cut mining experience desirable) Highly effective communicator able to deliver clear instruction and constructive technical feedback in fast-paced environments Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite About Us   Be part of something big.
