QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • TAEDEL311 – Provide Work Skill Instruction or equivalent and;
  • NAT10898001 – Carry Out Workplace Assessments or equivalent, or current Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
  • Proven experience utilising a load and haul fleet management system such as MineStar, Modular/Frontrunner, Leica Jigsaw, Fortex in a control room environment.
  • Experience delivering relevant and engaging training to a diverse range of learners.
  • Experience operating in an open cut mining environment desirable.
  • Ability to utilise fleet management systems in an autonomous haulage operational environment.
  • High level understanding and ability to explain the blend utility and assignment decisions.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise projects effectively in dynamic and ever-evolving work conditions.
  • Good computer skills with the ability to use all programs within the Microsoft suite.

Responsibilities
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to mine controllers and builders within the Mine Control teams, tailored to their varying levels of experience.
  • Conduct assessments and re-assessments of team members in line with Fortescue’s Training and Assessment Procedure and Standards.
  • Completion and submission of all required documentation in support of training delivery.
  • Conducting upskilling and skills standardisation training across the business for mine controllers and builders.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement within the training environment to provide work class training and learning experiences.
  • Proactively work with key stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure the continual success of the Autonomous Haulage Systems.
  • Ensure all mandatory courses within your SuccessFactors learning profile are completed within the required time frame.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure training and assessing is to a standard that incorporates the latest OEM and Fortescue best practices, all applicable safety procedures, and standard work instructions.
