Job Description SGS Academy is growing, and we are looking for skilled Trainers and Assessors to deliver nationally recognised and non‑accredited training across a variety of industries. We are open to all engagement types and happy to discuss what works best for you. We are seeking confident, passionate Trainers and Subject Matter Experts in the following areas: Management Systems Work Health & Safety (e.g., Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, LVR/CPR, Extra and Low Voltage Electrical, TRG Hot Work) First Aid & CPR Standard 11, Site Safety Supervisor (S123/G189), Risk Management (G2) A full list of courses is available at https://learning.sgs.com/au About the role: As a Trainer and Assessor, you will develop, deliver, assess, and evaluate training programs in line with the 2025 Standards for RTOs, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes and compliance. You will: Deliver accredited and non-accredited training (classroom, virtual, and on-site) Support learners before, during, and after training Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement Provide subject matter expertise in your area of specialisation Work types & locations: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, and Contract roles available Based across Mt Thorley and Newcastle, with work across both locations as well as client sites in locations including but not limited to Muswellbrook and the Central Coast. Qualifications About you: We’re looking for confident industry professionals who enjoy developing others.
