Are you a Senior Support Worker or healthcare professional with over 18 months of hands on experience looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for you!
At Active Care Group, we proudly employ over 4,000 people, and we’re always on the lookout for passionate individuals. Right now, we’re searching for a confident, socially driven Trainer to join our Learning & Development team in the Caterham area.
As a Trainer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to develop new skills and further your career in a non-traditional trajectory. If you naturally enjoy mentoring others or have always wanted to share your knowledge, this could be the perfect role for you!
What We Offer:
Full support in gaining the necessary qualifications, knowledge and experience to excel in the role. Whether you already have an AET (Award in Education and Training) or need to work towards it, we have a clear and structured process to guide you.
Hands-on learning: Start by observing training courses, then co-deliver sessions, and ultimately lead training sessions.
The chance to enhance the skills and knowledge of our care teams, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional care to those with complex needs.
Role Overview: As a Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing mandatory and specialist training. This includes:
Mandatory inductions and updates
Practical skill assessments
Ensuring colleagues are up to date and knowledgeable in delivering high-quality care
The successful candidate will be based in the Caterham area and will be expected to travel to Active Care Group sites and training venues within an approximate 100-mile radius including overnight stop overs.
At Active Care Group, we are committed to providing expert, compassionate care, and fostering an inclusive, supportive environment. Our values guide everything we do, and we are dedicated to ensuring all staff have the tools and support they need to succeed.
