Description
About the Role: We’re looking for a hands-on, bilingual Trainer to support new hire and ongoing employee training in our production environment. This role will focus on conducting effective, engaging training sessions for hourly staff—covering safety, processes, quality, and job-specific skills. The ideal candidate has experience standing up and facilitating structured week-one training programs, including PowerPoint presentations, live demonstrations, and hands-on training in the demo area. This is not a management role — it’s a boots-on-the-ground position that works directly with employees to ensure understanding, consistency, and success on the floor. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver new hire and refresher training for production staff. * Facilitate classroom, demo area, and hands-on sessions. * Maintain and update PowerPoints, training materials, and visual aids. * Partner with supervisors and leads to identify training needs and skill gaps. * Track attendance, progress, and feedback to continuously improve training delivery. * Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all employees. Qualifications: * Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. * Experience developing and facilitating training for production or manufacturing teams. * Strong communication and presentation skills. * Comfortable working directly on the production floor. * Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and other training tools. Skills: The required skills are integral to the daily responsibilities of this role, as you will use training delivery techniques to effectively communicate complex information and engage learners. Instructional design skills enable you to create structured and impactful training programs that cater to different learning styles, including hands-on and blended learning approaches. Proficiency in Learning Management Systems allows you to organize, track, and assess training activities efficiently. Public speaking skills are essential for confidently presenting material and facilitating group discussions. Preferred skills such as e-learning development and advanced facilitation further enhance your ability to deliver innovative and adaptive training solutions that meet evolving organizational needs.
