Description Now Hiring: Dynamic Trainer for Direct Care Staff Are you passionate about teaching others and making a difference in the lives of individuals with special needs? Do you love seeing “aha!” moments and helping people grow in their roles? We’re looking for a Trainer who is equal parts educator, motivator, and champion of best practices to help our new team members thrive! What You’ll Do: · • Facilitate engaging, interactive training sessions both in-person and virtually · • Deliver all required state-certified courses (we’ll make sure you're trained too!) · • Track and maintain compliance records and training logs · • Collaborate with department heads to identify additional training needs · • Develop and refresh materials to keep training current and exciting · • Follow up with new staff during their first few weeks to ensure smooth transitions ? We’re Looking for Someone Who: · • Has a knack for public speaking and making learning FUN · • Is familiar with or willing to become certified in state-mandated courses (CPR, First Aid, etc.) · • Understands the world of direct support professionals or healthcare settings · • Is organized, proactive, and loves helping others succeed · • Has excellent communication skills and a positive attitude Bonus Points If You: · • Have previous experience in training or staff development · • Are familiar with group homes or services for individuals with developmental disabilities
