TRAINER:

On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Trainer for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

TRAINER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide learning and adoption support to empower employees with the knowledge and skills to effectively adopt and utilize workplace technologies and AI. As part of the Workplace Technology team, you will contribute to delivering practical, user-focused guidance that enhances productivity and collaboration across our global workforce.

TRAINER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, skilled at bridging business and technical audiences.
  • Expertise in workplace technology and AI, spanning both foundational and emerging capabilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g., Copilot, SharePoint, PowerPoint), ChatGPT Enterprise, and other enterprise tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in applying AI in day-to-day work, including identifying use cases and crafting effective prompts.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with data reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • At least 5 years of experience in communications, training, or a related field.

TRAINER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with knowledge workers and/or in the Financial Services industry.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services or Investment business processes.
  • Strong EQ and active listening.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing without formal authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain user-friendly adoption and learning materials, such as guides, videos, and presentations.
  • Create and deliver engaging enterprise learning sessions, including live (in-person, online, hybrid) and on-demand formats.
  • Design team-specific teach-ins, workshops, and presentations tailored to specific needs.
  • Create clear and proactive messaging about workplace technologies and AI updates to share across various communication channels.
  • Facilitate interactive sessions, including hackathons and workshops, to encourage proficiency and adoption.
  • Support Senior Manager by identifying barriers to technology and AI adoption and designing solutions to address them.
  • Use data tools such as Power BI to track adoption metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
