The Baker Hughes Training Academy is seeking an experienced, motivated and passionate Training Leader Control Systems to oversee a team of training instructors and ensure the effective delivery of technical training programs. This role involves managing instructor performance, developing training curricula and special programs by ensuring alignment with industry standards and company objectives. Partner with the best The ideal candidate will have expertise in oil and gas Control Systems and a passion for technical education and workforce development. In this role, you will be responsible for: Guide a team of technical training instructors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality training. Manage instructor schedules, workloads, and performance assessments. Offer coaching and development opportunities to enhance instructor effectiveness. Oversee the creation, development, and continuous improvement of technical training methodologies and materials. Integrate and support the evolution of the Field Service Engineer (FSE) competency model and career path. Enhance the Training Academy's ESG rating by consolidating synergies with local and global institutions. Coordinate with ITS Prime to develop new programs that meet corporate needs and foster student growth. Lead the organization in defining and implementing a new communication strategy, leveraging new technological standards. Enhance “Train The Trainer” program to expand Training Academy capabilities and scout regional training environments to deliver locally. Collaborate with internal departments, industry partners, and clients to identify training needs. Conduct training sessions as needed and support instructors in delivering hands-on and classroom-based training. Provide reports and recommendations to senior management on training performance and improvements. Develop and implement tailored training programs for all company functions. Provide support and guidance to employees regarding training and development opportunities. Responsible for ensuring that the team is well-connected with all company functions and stays updated with the latest technologies and services related to new energy sources Represent the Training Academy in meetings, audits, industry events, customer visits, etc. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Bachelor’s degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technical Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience). Extensive experience in technical training within the oil and gas industry, specifically in Control Systems, robotics Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience in developing technical training materials and curriculum. Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices. Have excellent oral and written communication skills, be fluent in English. Proven familiarity in program/project management; PMI/IPMA certification will be a distinctive enabler. Capability to connect with internal stakeholders and to create external partnerships. Team building attitude and strong coaching expertise in working across the business functions. Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving; ability to see the big picture, fuel and strategize a wide vision. Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems and providing resolutions. Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate diverse learning needs. Interpersonal skills to effectively connect with people from different cultural backgrounds. Be able to travel internationally to Baker Hughes locations and sites.
