We’re looking for a Training Administrator to play a vital role in supporting the development of our team at HMP Fosse Way. In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the heart of our training and development programmes helping to shape careers, track success, and ensure smooth operations that keep everything running to the highest standards. From coordinating workshops and managing training data, to supporting the recruitment and onboarding of Prison Custody Officers, no two days are the same! What you’ll be doing: Be the go-to support for our Training Lead and Tutors, ensuring staff development is planned and delivered seamlessly. Manage training data, attendance records, and evaluation metrics to keep our learning on track. Use your organisational skills to coordinate events, workshops, and key training initiatives. Provide accurate reports, presentations, and insights to drive improvements. Play a key role in PCO recruitment by supporting assessment days, engaging with candidates, and assisting onboarding. Ensure compliance with GDPR and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity. What we’re looking for: Proven administrative experience and strong data and analyse expertise. Confidence with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); LMS experience is a bonus! Excellent organisation, communication, and time-management abilities. What you’ll do Process and review child and other applications from prisoners in line with the Public Protection Manual. Collate, analyse and present prisoner information to internal and external agencies. Produce timely reports for IRMs and MAPPA meetings. Manage and update ViSOR records and support intelligence gathering and security operations. Assist with the ROTL process and other operational support tasks as directed. What we need from you OSS qualifications or demonstrable experience in a custodial/secure environment. Knowledge of MAPPA procedures, security practice and Serco Custodial Security Strategy (SCSS) desirable. Strong organisational, analytical and report-writing skills — numerate and comfortable presenting statistics. Absolute integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information. A collaborative team-player attitude with clear, confident communication.
