Description
Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, great ideas have a way of becoming phenomenal products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there’s no telling what you could accomplish! Why Apple? At Apple, we believe our products begin with our people. By hiring a diverse team we drive creative thought. By giving that team everything they need we drive innovation. By hiring incredible engineers we drive precision. And through our collaborative process we build memorable experiences for our customers! The Sales Training and Communications Business Partner (Carrier and SMB) is responsible for driving strategic enablement and engagement efforts that directly support the priorities of the ANZ Carrier Sales Route to Market (RTM), and Small Business growth priorities. This role is the intersection between Apple’s Channel Sales strategy and how that is expressed through Sales Training and Communication strategies – directly to partners, sellers and end-customers. The goal will be to contribute to Apple’s overall business growth, encompassing iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, Accessories and Apple Services. This requires day-to-day partnership with the Consumer Account teams and those who lead SMB strategies, Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams including WW Sales Training, Product Marketing, Finance and Operations. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to identify, develop and drive enablement opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle, coupled with exceptional communication skills. Additionally, the candidate must be a seasoned business partner and planner, with a growth mindset who thrives in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments. DESCRIPTION - Designs and delivers exceptional Training and Communication strategies that enhance seller knowledge, builds advocacy for Apple and drives behaviour change leading to Sales outcomes – across the Carrier Sales RTM, and Small-Medium Business (SMB) market opportunities - Uses current and emerging instructional design and adult learning methodologies, as well as knowledge of effective engagement strategies, to achieve scale and impact in a timely manner, comfortably running multiple competing priorities - Plays a lead partnership role in the Carrier and SMB account planning processes and prioritisation efforts, as a strategic Business Partner. This includes, but is not limited to, quarterly planning, ongoing reporting of activity and active participation in weekly commercial sales meetings - Works directly with channel partner L&D teams on strategic initiatives and enablement programs under development, as well as Apple’s leaders and teams, locally and globally. - May be required to partner with more technical Enterprise and Education RTM account teams and audiences, as it relates to SMB strategies and other Sales Training requirements. - An advocate for quality planning; always seeing around corners while building, adapting and communicating the plan: work underway, deliverables, measurement and impact. - Delivers content that supports an editorial vision and strategy aligned with global standards and regional goals. - Proficiency in current and emerging sales training and communication technologies, platforms and tools, such as effective approaches for learning management systems (LMS), content management systems (CMS), video production, virtual training platforms and event management systems. - As a Business Partner, measures and reports back to both the team and business on enablement program impact - consistently providing visibility, impact, return on investmen and future recommendations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 10 years of Sales Enablement management experience from working within the local Carrier or Telco sector, or a comparable background PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to recognise enablement opportunities through reporting, developing actionable insights, converting insights to strategic recommendations, and communicating findings to key collaborators Outstanding prioritisation, planning, communication, facilitation and executive presentation skills Highly collaborative and inclusive engagement style, seeking to deliver outstanding outcomes - regardless of the status quo or perceived boundaries Experience successfully leading and mentoring high performing teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments is desirable.
