Training and Compliance Coordinator

  • The overall responsibility for this position is to ensure the Physical Security’s training is standardized at all sites and posted on appropriate Connect/SharePoint sites. This will be achieved by assisting with drafting, updating, and submitting training documents, checklists, job aids, and tests for review and approval by responsible groups and working with Security Contract Managers to ensure the sites are aligned and the approved training program is implemented.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of Security Supervision/Management Experience
  • Certified in First Aid
  • Certified in CPR
  • Certified in Bloodborne Pathogen
  • Certified in AED
  • Demonstrated management experience in the delivery of training.
  • High-level analytical skills, leadership experience and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage the on-going monthly Control Training program. This will be managed through the assigned Control Leads at client GSOC or SOC. Ensure new checklists, procedures, temporary directives are being reviewed, trained and tested/certified, when necessary, by ensuring the monthly control drills scenarios are drafted, scheduled, and executed at client sites and shifts operating a GSOC/SOC. These drills will involve client Security Management and are imperative to identify emergency response deficiencies. Once deficiencies are identified, will work with Security Contract Managers to formulate an action plan for improvement, which will be disseminated to Control-certified personnel globally.
  • Oversee and manage selected supervisors at client sites with the client-mandated Physical Security Training and Testing programs, by ensuring necessary job aids, materials, tests, and guidelines are drafted, updated continuously, standardized, and implemented at all client sites globally where security supplier personnel are deployed. This will encompass the initial On-the-Job Training (OJT) program, the Control Certification program, the on-going re-certification process of Control Operators, and the leadership training program for those personnel wishing to move into a leadership role when available.
  • Oversee and manage the bi-annual Security Survey program, by ensuring all Security Surveys are completed by the Site Security Contract Managers\Leads or Sr. Supervisor at each client Site globally at the end of June and December, as prescribed, to include making corrective action recommendations and preparing and presenting the Executive Summary to client Security Management upon completion of each survey cycle.
  • Oversee and manage the Secure Desk Program that complies with client Internal Audit and Corporate Investigations policies and procedures. The Secure Desk Program should be standardized and conducted at each client site globally and uploaded on a unified application.
  • Oversee and manage the Quarterly Global Physical Security Report.
  • Oversee and manage the global Quality Assurance (QA) program, to ensure QA grading guidelines are established and implemented globally. In addition, will identify a team of QA graders (at least one per site), who will be responsible for grading each of the documents identified by the client.
  • Seek and gather information for management, regarding the effectiveness of the training program to review areas needed for improvement.
  • Other projects and assignments as directed.
  • Assist and back-up for the North American Security Account Manager, as needed.
