TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – IBUS

Go-Ahead London is seeking an ambitious and people-focused Training & Development Manager – iBus to lead our performance training and feedback strategy for the iBus Operations team.
This is not just about delivering training—it’s about creating a culture where continuous feedback, coaching, and performance monitoring drive operational excellence. You’ll be the person who ensures our teams are not only trained, but consistently supported, observed, and developed through structured feedback loops that raise standards across the network.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Network Performance Manager, you will:

  • Lead a structured observation and feedback programme for iBus Controllers and Performance Managers, ensuring staff receive regular, high-quality performance reviews.
  • Coach and mentor managers in delivering effective feedback, helping them to support their teams with practical improvement strategies.
  • Analyse performance data and KPIs, using insights to shape training interventions and track progress.
  • Design and deliver induction training for new iBus Controllers and create tailored development plans for Performance Managers.
  • Conduct training quality audits, ensuring consistency and high standards across all locations.
  • Champion a culture of accountability and continuous professional development.
