About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Training and Quality Lead to oversee sector-specific training and maintain high standards across our security in supported housing operations. This vital role involves designing, delivering, and assessing training programs for SIA licensed care wardens working within our supported housing schemes. The successful candidate will ensure staff are fully equipped to support vulnerable people and adhere to our operational and training standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sector-specific training to care wardens, ensuring they are prepared to work effectively with a wide range of vulnerable groups, including individuals experiencing drug and alcohol dependency, homelessness, domestic violence, exploitation, victims of people trafficking, and more.
  • Develop and update training materials in line with sector best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and learn each housing scheme to facilitate full staff induction prior to deployment.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with training protocols, operational procedures, and quality standards across all sites.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks and provide feedback to maintain high standards of service and staff performance.
  • Support staff development through coaching, mentorship, and ongoing training initiatives.
  • Stay informed of sector developments and regulatory requirements to ensure training content remains current and relevant.
  • Lead on the continuous improvement of training and operational practices to enhance service delivery and compliance.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure satisfactory service delivery by all field-based personnel, maintaining strong relationships and addressing any concerns proactively.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience within the Supported Housing and/or Security sectors is essential.
  • Proven experience in delivering training or overseeing training programs.
  • Ability to pass an advanced DBS check.
  • Strong understanding of working with vulnerable populations.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to develop engaging training content and conduct effective training sessions.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn about different sites and schemes.

Desirable:

  • SIA License (beneficial but not essential)
  • Experience in quality assurance roles
