About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Training Coordinator to join our team and lead all aspects of training and development across our site. In this varied and hands-on role, you’ll deliver engaging inductions, coordinate refresher training, and help ensure our workforce—seasonal and permanent—has the skills and knowledge to succeed safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver comprehensive inductions for new starters across all departments.
- Coordinate and track refresher training, SOP updates, and cross-training opportunities.
- Develop and maintain visual or translated training materials to support accessibility.
- Keep training matrices and individual records audit-ready and up to date.
- Collaborate with department leads to identify training needs and schedule sessions.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and accountability across the site.
- Assist with audits by preparing relevant training documentation (e.g., BRC, LEAF, SMETA).
- Support the development and review of SOPs and training content.
- Manage a rolling training calendar covering mandatory and job-specific sessions.
- Liaise with labour agencies to ensure consistent onboarding of seasonal/agency workers.
- Support the implementation of new equipment or processes through relevant training.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Work with external training providers and manage associated logistics and compliance records.
- Report on training KPIs, compliance trends, and performance to key stakeholders.
About You:
- Experienced in coordinating and delivering training in a manufacturing, food production, or similar environment.
- Knowledgeable in food safety, hygiene, and health & safety best practices.
- Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping and organisation skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage people at all levels.
- Comfortable working with different formats, including visual aids and translated materials.
- Able to demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and high level of professionalism.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to produce reports and training records as needed.
