How You’ll Make a Difference


  • Liaise with various college areas and leaders (ie. Office of the Registrar), as well as external Indigenous and non-Indigenous community partners, on intentional and responsive pathways and admissions and enrolment approaches into ELCC prorgams within the Faculty of Arts & Sciences.
  • Communicate and coordinate enrolment and admissions priorities and aspirations of Indigenous and non-Indigenous community partners regarding the ELCC Enrolment Expansion prorgam to FOAS leadership.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of relationships/partnerships, and serve as the primary point of contact regarding the ELCC Enrolment Expansion Program.
  • Work collaboratively on developing responsive plans for the delivery of ELCC programming that meets the identified needs of Indigenous and non-Indigenous community partners.
  • Contribute, ccoordinate, and lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of ELCC Enrolment Expansion projects and initiatives based on community-partner feedback and insights to build a foundation for future enrolment initiatives across the faculty.
  • Brief the Dean, Associate Dean, and Chairs of Early Learning & Care on sensitive and/or time-sensitive issues for direction, and respond safely and respectfully to students and community partners.
  • Develop and implement an engagement plan for Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities to increase awareness and accessibility of the ELCC Enrolment Expansion, as well as services and supports available to interested/prospective learners in the Certificate/Diploma programs across the faculty.
  • Identify and develop responsive and sustainable delivery and cost models based community partner identified needs, aspirations, and realities.
  • Contribute to the development of sustainable wise practices, tools, and resources that support the responsiveness of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences in relation to Indigenous and non-Indigenous community partners needs and aspirations within higher education.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement Faculty-wide process improvements within enrolment and admissions in relation to the needs of Indigenous peoples and communities while working collaboratively with other business areas in the faculty.
