As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Training Coordinator to lead our employee development initiatives and support our commitment to operational excellence and workplace safety.
This role will be primarily based in Calgary but will also provide training support to our operations in Beiseker, AB, ensuring consistency and alignment across both locations.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs that empower employees with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. From onboarding to equipment operation and compliance, this role will ensure our workforce is well-prepared and continuously improving. While the primary focus is on training, the Co-ordinator will also collaborate with the Safety team to support safety-related training and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating training programs within a manufacturing environment
  • Post-secondary education or training, auditing or a related technical discipline
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training program development
  • Proven ability to work with online training platforms and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Certifications such as Manufacturing Safety Officer (MSO), ISO Internal Auditor are a strong asset.
Responsibilities

Training Coordination Assess training needs across departments and develop annual training plans

  • Design and deliver onboarding programs for new hires in Calgary and Beiseker
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for equipment use, operational procedures, and compliance topics
  • Maintain accurate records of employee training, certifications, and renewals
  • Collaborate with supervisors and department leads to align training with operational goals
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve delivery methods
  • Manage online training platforms and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development
