OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Training Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in developing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. In alignment with the agency values to ensure services are delivered by staff who are competent, knowledgeable, and well trained, the training coordinator will support the provision of on-going training and education for staff.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in adult education or instructional design is essential.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator, for content creation.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for managing training programs.
  • Strong video editing skills to create engaging multimedia content.
  • Excellent proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise instructional materials.
  • Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem-solving skills and both verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in word processing and presentation software
  • Ability to operate media equipment such as projectors and personal computers
  • Knowledge about traditional and modern training methods and techniques
  • Exceptional organization skills, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with a team and have attention to detail
  • Knowledgeable about learning management systems, instructional design and e-learning platforms
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and assess and analyze data

  • Communicating company training policies to employees i.e. Telehealth.
  • Assisting with annual performance reviews.
  • Improving employee performance and competency.
  • Handling administrative functions related to training.
  • Scheduling, designing, and facilitating training classes.
  • Creating training plans, manuals and materials.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Developing training plans and schedules.
  • Choosing appropriate training methods.
  • Marketing available training opportunities to employees.
