Powercon Corp is a leading switchgear manufacturing company dedicated to providing high-quality electrical solutions.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Training Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness and consistency of company-wide training materials and supports the Human Resources department in onboarding and training efforts. This position is responsible for reviewing, updating, and coordinating training content and ensuring new and existing employees have access to accurate, engaging, and up-to-date resources. The Trainer Coordinator also provides occasional support and acts as a backup for general HR functions when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in training & development or related field is a plus.
  • 1–3 years in training coordination, instructional design, and HR support.
  • Experience with video editing tools or managing multimedia content is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Training Coordination

  • Review and assess current training videos and materials for relevance, accuracy, and effectiveness across all departments.
  • Update outdated training content, including scripting and coordinating video production and approvals.
  • Identify and remove obsolete or unused training materials from internal systems.
  • Collaborate with Recruiting and department leaders to ensure training materials reflect current company processes and expectations.
  • Track and monitor employee training completion to ensure compliance with internal training requirements.
  • Maintain and organize training documentation, files, and learning tools in a clear,
  • accessible system.

HR Support (as needed)

  • Assist the HR department with administrative tasks and support as requested.
  • Act as a backup for HR-related tasks during peak times or staff absences.
