III. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years of direct job-related experience required. Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of direct job-related experience preferred or an Associate’s degree with 8 years of direct job-related experience.
  • Previous Related Experience Required:
  • Ten (10) years of experience in process operations/maintenance or industrial settings. Five years of experience in training coordination preferred. Olefins experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Training and Development: Training development and implementation by consulting with Training Assistant Manager and Site Management to assess training needs across all job disciplines. Continuously evaluate training course effectiveness through open communications with plant supervision. Ensure that the training programs are consistent with the established Master Training Plan implemented across the complex. Contact resources to impact Department goals and results optimally. Train employees in operations, and equipment training as needed.
On Boarding: Schedule and coordinate HR and Units the interviews and placement of trainees so that we have a qualified and successful workforce. Maintain schedules and charts to keep track of employment needs.
Leadership and Development: Coordinate with other sections/units to constantly have continual improvement of courses and training by analyzing CBT data.
Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all employees in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Assure compliance with all company safety, health, and security programs and practices. Provide management and leadership timely and thorough reporting of all incidents to ensure
all incidents are investigated properly. Take personal responsibility and ownership for safety, including bringing the attitude that “I am individually responsible for safety” to the job each and every day.
THM: Promote cleanliness and order through implementation of the Total House Keeping Management program. Emphasize “Nothing Touch Ground” program and” No Visual Pollution” program. Maintain the plant in like new condition.
