About the role The Training Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of training, assessment, and competency development programs for the Line of Business including blue- and white-collar workers. This role will work with the HSE, Operations and P&C teams to align all training requirements and provide direction to the trainers who will deliver structured training, gap training, and refresher courses. This role is located in Tullarmarine. Key responsibilities Set up, coordinate and attend employee training sessions in collaboration with Health & Safety Managers, People and Culture and Operational Leads, including arranging invitations, catering and room bookings Manage relationship with Registered Training Organisations (RTO) including but not limited to coordinating student enrolment process (e.g. tuition fees, federal government apprenticeship/ traineeship contracts), providing reporting on student progress, completions and withdrawals where required, and submit all relevant accredited training documentation Monitor and manage compliance at all levels of the business with RTO Regulatory requirement Drive efficient data recording and monitoring on all student progress information (completions, withdrawals, competent, not yet competent) into the Learning Management System Check and monitor workforce competence to ensure all compulsory trainings remain current Manage the collection and recording of training data from all business units to enable completion of monthly L&D reports Implementation of Training Plans and regular audits of internal processes to ensure currency of Training Plans. Responsible for the management and maintenance of all training and safety record requirements in accordance with internal document control policy and statutory requirements Preparation of reports for internal & external stakeholders where required Ensure effective document control for the business to meet business needs including those required under ISO accreditation. Support the HSE Manager in implementing, delivering and overseeing the establishment of business targets/initiatives and performance measures for all operational / functional areas to ensure adherence to the training plan and ensure maintenance and compliance of competencies; Workforce capability requirements, develop training delivery plans; Maintain Governance Systems, ensuring internal processes meet regulatory requirements Maintain a high level of knowledge of best practice adult and vocational learning practices and processes. Support the HSE Manager in implementing, delivering and overseeing the establishment of business targets/initiatives and performance measures for all operational / functional areas to ensure adherence to the training plan and ensure maintenance and compliance of competencies; Identify and recommend continuous business processes improvements initiatives to enhance the L & D function and business performance About You Previous experience with training in the electrical industry will be highly regarded Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable Experience in maintaining and supporting ASQ requirements through effective governance, audits, and continuous improvement Ability to function autonomously, work independently and/or coordinate work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
