Description Position Overview Valiant Residential is seeking a Training Coordinator who will contribute to the success of Valiant Residential, by delivering, revising, and assisting in the development of new training programs. The training coordinator is responsible for delivering high-impact content both on-site and through webinar-based training sessions to team members to educate them on their job duties/expectations and to improve their understanding of all systems and solutions. This position is also responsible for making recommendations on new training programs/materials and for assisting in the development of new solutions. What You’ll Be Doing Coordinate planning, developing and delivering training to all corporate and on-site employees. Execute a training & coaching strategy to improve customer service for on-site staff. Collaborate on new initiatives in cooperation with Operations and Marketing. Execute, organize, and deliver specific training. Responsible in keeping training needs updated. Continuously improve compliance training programs. Constantly evaluate the training programs to ensure team members have a thorough knowledge of the procedures, programs, policies, as well as a complete understanding of their job responsibilities. Deliver coaching and feedback to Property Managers, Assistant Property Managers, Leasing Managers, and Leasing Consultants on Secret Shopper calls. Construct and communicate all training documentation, including training agenda, training reports with class attendance and training issues, training recaps, and other training communication. Responsible for maintaining a current digital and hard-copy of all training programs, and other materials for in-house training. Partner with team members to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies. Maintain reasonable awareness of relevant laws and agency regulations, including but not limited to fair housing, sexual harassment, disability accommodations, and landlord tenant relationships as they apply to the policies and procedures of the company and the communities. Teach skills such as phone systems, policies and procedures, customer service, financial reporting, Yardi systems and others. Compliance auditing/training of onsite personnel to ensure SOP are consistently executed. Provide tools and resources to the team to achieve results. Other duties not listed above as directed by the President. Requirements Proficiency in delivering professional skills courses. Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate in a way that retains trainee engagement. Demonstrate ability to multi-task and meet various deadlines. Exceptional scheduling and organizational skills. Computer literate, specifically MS Word, Excel (advanced level preferred) and Outlook for Windows. Exceptional Written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws. Previous demonstrated training experience preferred. Experience with training best practices, skills assessment methodologies, processes, and training curriculum design desired. Minimum five years of on-site multifamily management experience. Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college is preferred; experience in lieu of degree is a possible consideration. Minimum of 2 years in the property management industry.
