ABOUT ROSSDOWN FARMS & NATURAL FOODS

Rossdown Farms & Natural Foods is a fourth-generation, family-run poultry farm and processor. From farm to plate, we hatch, feed, grow, and process organic, specialty, and value-added poultry products — proudly supplying Western Canada with healthy, high-quality poultry while following the highest standards in food safety and animal welfare.
We believe in investing in our people. When our employees succeed, our business thrives. That’s why we’re looking for a Production Training Coordinator who can design, document, and coordinate training programs that keep our teams skilled, safe, and compliant.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in Punjabi and English is required (spoken and written).
  • 3+ years of experience in training coordination, operations, or HR roles; manufacturing or food processing experience is a strong asset.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training content.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and on-the-job training methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of organizational ability and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Redzone, SharePoint, or LMS platforms is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across shifts and departments.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is not a desk-only position. You’ll regularly be on the production floor to:

  • Observe processes in detail
  • Capture videos and photos for our SOP library
  • Work with team members and supervisors to ensure documentation reflects real-life operations

Important: Approximately 70% of our workforce speaks Punjabi. Fluency in Punjabi and English is required to train effectively and gather process details.
You’ll act as a key link between HR, and plant leadership to foster a culture of safety, performance, and continuous learning.
