About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Training & Development Coordinator with specialized experience in the medical and health industry. This role supports the design, facilitation, and evaluation of performance-based training programs, with a focus on building concrete operational skills related to healthcare processes and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will be passionate about workforce development, adaptable to diverse learning environments, and committed to enhancing organizational and patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate engaging, performance-based learning events across classroom, virtual, and blended environments, with emphasis on medical and health-related content.
Apply rapid course development methodologies to create and adapt training content tailored to healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
Manage classroom dynamics, monitor learner performance, and escalate issues to Learning & Development and client leadership as appropriate.
Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to identify training needs and recommend effective learning solutions.
Support completion of service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure training programs align with healthcare industry best practices and organizational goals.
Measure, track, and analyze learner progress, program effectiveness, and client satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain awareness of cultural and global differences to ensure training approaches are inclusive and effective.
Keep technical and healthcare compliance knowledge up to date with evolving tools, trends, and industry standards.
Travel to worksites or client locations, including healthcare facilities, as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related field;or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a front-line operations role;training or facilitation experience within the medical or health industry strongly preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with healthcare processes, patient confidentiality (HIPAA), and compliance protocols is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Proficiency with virtual learning platforms and digital collaboration tools
