Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Training and Education Coordinator in the delivery of Offshore Wind 4 Kids (OW4K) programming in schools within Nova Scotia.
  • Assist with the setup and takedown of OW4K demonstration equipment during school visits and events.
  • Help facilitate hands-on activities and learning opportunities, answering participant questions under the guidance of the Training and Education Coordinator.
  • Document program activities by capturing high-quality photos and videos during events to support promotional efforts.
  • Collect participant feedback to support program evaluation.
  • Assist in organizing supplies, maintaining equipment inventory, and preparing materials for upcoming sessions.
  • Participate in team meetings, providing updates and feedback from school visits.
  • Support the Career Pathways Coordinator with post-secondary initiatives, as required.
  • Represent COVE in all areas of work and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with COVE’s policies and procedures, including human resources, safety, and operational standards.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to support the success and growth of COVE’s programs and strategic initiatives.
