We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Training Manager (Specialty Coffee) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for a dedicated professional who will be responsible for designing and delivering our specialty coffee training programmes. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in upholding our high standards of quality and ensuring our teams are equipped with industry-leading knowledge and skills. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive and engaging training programmes covering all aspects of specialty coffee, including coffee theory, brewing techniques, latte art, and customer service. Conduct hands-on training sessions for new and existing baristas and café management staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality guest experience. Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and resources to support learning and development. Establish and monitor quality control standards for coffee preparation, presentation, and service across all locations. Assess employee performance and the effectiveness of training programmes, providing feedback and implementing improvements where necessary. Stay current with the latest developments, trends, and innovations within the global specialty coffee industry. Organise and lead workshops and coffee tasting sessions to foster a culture of continuous learning and passion for coffee. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Training Manager, Head Barista, or a similar role within the specialty coffee sector. Expert knowledge of coffee from bean to cup, including origins, processing methods, roasting profiles, and a wide range of brewing techniques. Demonstrable experience in designing and delivering effective training programmes. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects. A genuine passion for specialty coffee and a commitment to excellence. SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) certifications or equivalent qualifications are highly desirable.
