"More We for You" – this is the motto we follow in every area of our business. As one of the largest cooperative banks, we have the highest standards in serving our 150,000 private customers. We want to support them in every aspect of their lives – online, by phone, and in person at one of our seven branches. Our 300 employees have been the driving force behind the success of PSD Bank Nürnberg for over 85 years. Each individual contributes their unique ideas, commitment, and extensive industry expertise, which is why we're confident: We start with you.
For us, training is more than just organizing practical placements and vocational school. It is an important way to attract, develop, and retain young talent for our bank in the long term.
We are looking for a part-time Training Manager & Talent Development (m/f/d) - a personality who combines professional training management with a genuine development orientation.
You will be responsible for the training of our current approximately 14 trainees and ensure a high quality of training – at our main location in Nuremberg and also in our branches.
High professional standards and genuine closeness to young people go hand in hand for us.
Professionally manage and develop training.
You design and coordinate our training end-to-end – from the start of the training to its successful completion and transition to a possible follow-up position in our company.
Individual support and development of young talent
You are the main contact person for our trainees and accompany their development throughout their entire training period.
You conduct regular feedback and development discussions, identify individual strengths and areas for development, and support trainees in taking increasing responsibility for their own learning and development process.
In doing so, you combine support with clear expectations, commitment, and personal responsibility.
Even in challenging situations, you act confidently, in a solution-oriented manner, and with a good sense for the situation at hand.
Ensuring training quality across departments and locations.
You ensure that our training standards are reliably implemented regardless of the specific place of work.
For this, you will work closely with managers and training officers, support them in their role and continuously develop the collaboration.
You are responsible in particular for:
Combining training and talent development:
Together with our HR Business Partner, the personnel development team and the managers, you will keep an early eye on how our trainees are developing and what perspectives may arise after the training.
You contribute your assessment of potential, interests and development levels and help to prepare transitions and possible career prospects in a timely manner.
This means you understand training not in isolation, but as part of our strategic talent and personnel development. You will be responsible
for shaping trainee recruitment and employer branding,
overseeing the recruitment and selection process for our trainees and working closely with recruiting and marketing.
You contribute your knowledge about target groups, training content and requirements, and ensure that we present our training program authentically and attractively to the outside world.
You attract young people who are a good fit for us professionally, personally, and in terms of their attitude. You
make training measurable and effective
, demonstrating the success of our training program by utilizing appropriate qualitative and quantitative indicators and feedback formats, for example, regarding:
This way you create transparency about the quality and impact of our training and derive targeted improvements from it.
Experience in the banking, insurance or financial services sector is advantageous, but not mandatory.
What's crucial for us is that you manage training professionally, take young people seriously, and uphold clear quality and development standards.
Please state your desired number of weekly hours in your letter of motivation.
