Description

The post holder will oversee the delivery of the ICM training Programme in NHSE England North West. It will cover the NW part of the Scheme.
The post holder will support the Head of School in the Strategic Development of the North West School of Intensive Care Medicine and contribute to supporting the School Operational Programme.
The post holder will be a member of the School Board and Intensive Care Medicine Speciality Training committee.

Please note this is a 3-year secondment extendable to a maximum of three years, subject to mutual agreement.

  • To support the Head of School in managing trainee underperformance with the support of the Lead Associate Dean for the specialty, in line with the NHSE North West Office Doctors and Dentists Review Group/Trainees Requiring Enhanced Support framework.
  • To attend the Specialty School Board and support the Head of School in facilitating appropriate engagement from Training Programme Directors and other stakeholders.
