POSITION

MacArtney A/S is seeking a dedicated and skilled Training & Service Engineer to train our customers in our products and systems. This newly created role also includes handling service and support tasks. Emphasizing technical training instruction, collaboration, task management, and continuous improvement, this position is key to enhancing the success of our Service & Aftersales initiatives.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ideal education as Marine Engineer (Maskinmester) with electrical background or as an Electronic Engineer
  • Experience from the maritime technical field and with electrical installations
  • Insight into electronics is important
  • Experience in customer service and customer care.
  • Experience from a technical instructing/training role
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with technology equipment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and instructional design skills
  • Seaworthy/sea-strong
  • Strong authority skills
  • Excellent communication skills in Danish and English
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall, you will be responsible for handling service and support tasks within a broad range of subsea applications for our Service & Aftersales department. You will develop and deliver training programs/materials for customers globally on the use of Macartney’s underwater technology. The common denominators are extreme environment, high-specification materials and highly specialised customers.

THE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING TASKS

  • Handling of service and support tasks on all MacArtney delivered equipment, with inspection and repair as key elements.
  • Complete and document service and support observations and tasks.
  • Ensuring a positive customer journey by being a trusted partner capable of building long-term relationships.
  • Creating engaging instructional materials and conduct sessions and workshops. Both online and in-person, including at sea, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
  • Continuously updating and improvement of training materials to reflect the latest advancements in underwater technology.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to customers during and after training sessions.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and troubleshooting issues related to the use of Macartney’s equipment.
  • Gather feedback from customers and colleagues to improve training programs and materials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to incorporate into training programs.
