THE OPPORTUNITY

Gallagher Security is looking for a dedicated Training Solutions Engineer to join our global security training team. This role is critical in creating, managing, and delivering technical training solutions focused on Access, Perimeter, and High Security systems for our Channel Partner network, end-users, consultants, and staff.
You will be a key brand ambassador, delivering dynamic and engaging training that ensures a consistent Gallagher message, while fostering a strong commercial focus. You’ll also develop and maintain up-to-date training materials aligned with the latest product developments, helping to drive our growth and sales strategies worldwide. This role involves frequent travel within New Zealand, with occasional international travel.

THE FIT

We’re seeking a technically skilled trainer with strong people management and communication abilities. You’ll have experience in adult learning techniques and a professional, reliable approach. Adaptability and tenacity will serve you well in delivering consistent, high-quality training.

• Experience with Gallagher Security products and the security industry
• Strong technical knowledge including electrical principles and IT networking (TCP-IP, SQL Server)
• Proven adult training and presentation experience
• Ability to create clear, relevant technical documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel frequently across New Zealand and occasionally overseas
• Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset
• Integrity, initiative, determination, and reliability
• Preferred skills include sales or market experience.
