Andrew Morgan, LLC (AM) is a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone SB. We are currently seeking a qualified Training Specilaist to join our team supporting our DoD Client.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in training coordination, workforce development, or HR within a federal or DoD environment.
  • Familiarity with federal training systems such as JKO, DCPDS, or similar platforms.
  • Strong skills in tracking compliance metrics, developing dashboards, and generating reports.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining SOPs, POA&Ms, and official documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex DoD and agency guidance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and workflow tools.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for monitoring training compliance, administering learning platforms, improving training processes, and ensuring that workforce members remain in compliance with USD A&S (Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment) guidance and certification requirements. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with strong organizational skills, experience in federal training programs, and a proactive approach to process and policy development.

  • Monitor and track annual training requirements across the organization to ensure timely completion and compliance.
  • Develop, update, and manage training dashboards and compliance reports on a monthly basis, and provide ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Provide Tier 1 support for the Joint Knowledge Online (JKO) system, including account administration and troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to training management, registration, and compliance tracking.
  • Register and sponsor employees for internal and external training programs in accordance with agency policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of USD A&S policies, DoD instructions, and agency-specific guidance to support acquisition workforce training and certification requirements.
  • Ensure acquisition workforce members meet and maintain required certifications through structured monitoring, reminders, and documentation.
  • Build and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), workflow documentation, and official memorandums to support certification processes and audit readiness.
  • Design, document, and communicate process workflows, including consequence matrices and role-based responsibility lanes.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of policy content and training sessions for employees, managers, and HR staff, aligned with DoD compliance standards and employee development goals.
  • Support the development of strategies that enhance employee relations, retention, and career progression opportunities within the agency.
