Responsibilities
  • Participating in the assessment of training needs using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT):
  • Assisting the Training Consultant in developing comprehensive training needs analyses to determine the requirements of a broad range of customers, providing flexible and creative solutions in both technical and non-technical training areas.
  • Collaborating with the Training Consultant to troubleshoot, identify, and recommend solutions for compliance and regulatory training programs by evaluating performance issues and applying SAT principles.
  • Assisting with Training Program Evaluations to support the continuous improvement of Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL)’s training programs.
  • Participating in the planning, organizing, and designing of training events:
  • Assisting the Training Consultant in monitoring assigned training requirements and maintaining existing training documentation and materials.
  • Implementing potential improvements to training materials and processes to maintain industry standards and ensure training programs are comprehensive and auditable.
  • Responding to situations following established processes to mitigate potential issues.
  • Participating in the evaluation and identification of industry best practices and benchmarks:
  • Planning, facilitating, and leading team and client meetings under the guidance of the Training Consultant, using various human performance techniques to resolve training-related issues affecting organizational effectiveness.
  • Performing research, including industry benchmarking, Operating Expenditure (OPEX), training standards, and best practices, to support the development of appropriate client training solutions.
  • Assisting in reviewing instructor performance and collaboratively recommending improvements to instructional methods and presentation techniques.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.
