Are you passionate about leading interactive training sessions and connecting with people face-to-face? The Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver impactful, engaging training experiences that drive professional growth.
In this role, you’ll facilitate dynamic in-person learning sessions, design creative content, and serve as a vital resource for employees developing essential skills. If fostering professional development in a collaborative environment excites you, we want to hear from you!


Examples of Work:

Facilitate & Engage:

  • Plan and lead in-person and digital training sessions, incorporating interactive activities, role-playing, and tailored content to meet diverse learner needs.

Plan & Organize:

  • Coordinate training events, including scheduling, room setup, and preparation of materials.

Develop & Create:

  • Design supplemental learning resources, such as instructional videos, presentations, and e-learning modules.

Adapt & Update:

  • Revise course materials to align with updated policies, regulations, and organizational goals.

Evaluate & Improve:

  • Gather and analyze feedback to assess training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience in planning, developing, conducting, and evaluating training programs or courses. Proven experience in leading or developing training initiatives. Strong ability to develop training materials or curriculam. Associate’s degree in education, human resources, or a related field can substitute for experience.
Preferred Qualifications: One year of motor vehicle industry experience or demonstrated leadership in formal/informal settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with video, audio, and digital image editing tools.
Other: Valid driver’s license. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in various environments and weather conditions. Willingness to travel occasionally.
