POSITION SUMMARY

Technical Systems Integration (TSI) is seeking a Mid-Level Training Systems Analyst to join our team supporting the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) at the Surface Advanced Warfighting School (SAWS) in San Diego, CA. This critical role focuses on the operation, evaluation, and enhancement of advanced training simulators and systems that prepare surface warfare personnel for complex combat scenarios. The successful candidate will work directly with cutting-edge training technologies including Multi-Mission Team Trainers, Virtual Operator Trainers, and integrated warfare simulation systems to ensure the highest levels of tactical proficiency across Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) and Surface Warfare (SUW) domains.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of recent experience developing high-quality graphics for presentations
• 3+ years of recent experience providing classroom instruction on topics related to Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) and Surface Warfare (SUW) areas

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• 3+ years of recent proficiency with Adobe software including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, and Premiere or equivalent computer programs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, VBA programming capabilities
• Experience with database management systems and data analysis tools

Required Competencies:

• Strong instructional design and classroom teaching capabilities
• Knowledge of Navy surface warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures
• Understanding of training simulator systems and their operational requirements
• Ability to develop and implement complex training scenarios and curricula

DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE:

• Navy surface warfare operations and tactical employment experience
• Understanding of ASW and SUW combat systems and procedures
• Knowledge of Warfare Training Instructor (WTI) programs and requirements
• Familiarity with Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) methodologies

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

• Security Clearance: SECRET (current and active)
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required
• Background Check: NCIS background check required
• Travel Requirements: Minimal travel, typically less than 10%

• Ability to work in standard office and training facility environments
• Extended periods of computer work and detailed visual tasks involving simulators and training systems
• Ability to attend meetings, training sessions, and collaborate in various work settings
• Standard office mobility requirements with occasional movement between training facilities
