Job Description AECOM has an excellent career opportunity for a creative and talented Transaction Advisor to support implementation of the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGI) Fund Task Order funded by the U.S. Department of State (DOS). PGI serves as a project preparation platform that provides infrastructure transaction advisory, engineering, policy/regulatory technical assistance services on a flexible, rapid response basis for public and private sector-funded infrastructure projects globally. The Transaction Advisor will work closely with the Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) and the project leadership and technical teams to guide implementation of the project’s transaction advisory portfolio. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Support the DCOP in managing transactions in target corridors across all transaction advisory activities, including pipeline development, project prioritization, due diligence, and financial close, for investments related to transportation, energy, digital and other infrastructure. Oversee technical teams, including subcontractors, in the development of technical deliverables to bring bankable projects to financial close. Lead PGI efforts to establish a process for collaborating with U.S. embassies to identify, select, and support priority transaction advisory initiatives in alignment with U.S. foreign policy objectives. Provide technical leadership for specific transactions and facilitate reach-back to AECOM technical capabilities globally, as required. Effectively represent AECOM through communication and reporting to DOS technical personnel and serve as acting DCOP, as needed. Identify issues and risks related to project implementation, provide mitigation strategies, and monitor through resolution. Develop contractual reports and subcontractor/consultant scopes of work as appropriate. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with six years of relevant professional experience. Experience in international development and knowledge of USAID, Department of State (DOS), rules and regulations (FAR and AIDAR). Preferred Qualifications: 8 plus years of experience reviewing and critiquing detailed project finance and PPP financial models and contract structures aligned to financial models. Experience working in Africa, the Indo-Pacific, and Latin America and the Caribbean. Experience working on projects funded by USAID, DOS, or U.S. Trade and Development Agency Masters degree in development finance, engineering or similar field. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, with cross-cultural communication skills.
