TRANSACTION MANAGER - MERCEDES-BENZ OF POOLE

An opportunity has arisen to join the Poole team as a Transaction Manager. The purpose of the Transaction Manager is to create an engaging retail experience for new and used car buyers so that the customer does not buy a car from anywhere but Sandown. Ultimately, delivering this experience will improve sales conversion, profitability and loyalty.
The Transaction Manager is responsible for enhancing customer relationships and progressing the sale of the car, F&I, service plans and accessories. Crucial to this role is an ability to gain customer trust and build loyalty to Sandown. Responsibilities will include, part exchange valuations, finance package tailoring and delivering sales results for the branch.

Responsibilities
  • Provide class leading customer service
  • Ensure sales process is adhered to
  • Distribute and manage lead with sales executive
  • Have detailed knowledge of every enquiry
  • Encourage appointments at the showroom
  • Second face every customer
  • Ensure follow up after enquiry, in line with Sandown SLAs
  • Produce finance quotes and proposals
  • Appraise part exchanges and provide valuations
  • Assist with the sale of the car, accessories, paint protection and insurance products
  • Close sales
  • Report to line manager on deal by deal basis on all income generated
  • Conduct regular diary reviews
  • Mentor and develop team of Sales Executives
  • Identify renewal opportunities from existing Sandown customers
    You will require –: a high level of attention to detail; be FCA accredited: knowledge of finance and related systems; knowledge of insurance products; Understanding of car valuations and advanced negotiation skills.
    The showroom is open from 8.00 - 18.30 Monday to Friday, Saturday 8:30 – 17:00 and Sunday 10:00 – 16:00. Weekend work on a rota basis will be required however; a 5-day week will be worked.
