Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Transactional Business Attorney in this management position, you will play a pivotal role in the continued growth of the firm’s transactional practice. You’ll oversee and mentor a team of attorneys and paralegals, while collaborating with firm leadership to execute strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine technical legal acumen with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, service agreements, licensing deals, and partnership contracts.
  • Advise internal stakeholders and clients on legal risks and business terms related to corporate transactions.
  • Lead and support M&A activities including due diligence, deal structuring, and post-closing integration.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and human resources.
  • Manage, mentor, and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals within the transactional group.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the business transactional practice.
  • Manage and coordinate with external counsel as needed for specialized legal matters.
  • Monitor and advise on changes in relevant laws and regulations that may impact the business and clients.
