Description Eisner, LLP is seeking a dynamic, experienced Legal Assistant to provide legal support to a stellar team supporting our Entertainment and Corporate attorneys. This role will be based out of the Beverly Hills office. As a Legal Assistant, your outstanding administrative skills will enable you to perform a wide range of secretarial duties and confidential tasks in a fast-paced environment. Your strong interpersonal skills will serve as you interface with clients, attorneys and staff. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Prepare, organize, and create complex legal documents; File and search documents in iManage/FileSite; Redline documents using both MS tracked changes and Workshare Compare; Schedule internal and external appointments, meetings and calls, maintain attorneys’ schedules and calendars, handle e-mail distributions/incoming and outgoing mail, update contact information; Prepare client/matter intake documents; draft letters, review and update documents per attorney markups; Assist attorneys with conflicts checks and opening new matters; Prepare TOCs; Distribute, file, and organize internal and external agreements and correspondence; Prepare expense reports and coordinate monthly billing process between the Accounting Department and assigned partner for pre-edits and final bill processing; Schedule couriers, and other special functions internally and externally; Establish and maintain paper and electronic client and administrative files; Assist with overflow/special projects; contribute to the office and firm-wide team objectives; and Provide general back up support to the office and other departments and assistants as required. The ideal candidate must: Demonstrate strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; Exhibit discretion and ability to maintain confidences; Be flexible, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while successfully managing conflicting priorities; Be a team player; Effectively communicate with a diverse audience that includes attorneys, clients, staff and vendors; Possess strong customer service skills and use sound judgment; Identify/analyze problems and challenges and to recommend/implement solutions; Have ability to remain calm in deadline-driven and high-pressure situations; Maintain and nurture a positive attitude and workplace environment; and Have a strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting internal and external expectations. Requirements 5+ years of transactional experience in a large to medium size law firm preferred; equivalent experience in a related field may be substituted; High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Proficiency in iManage preferred, but can train; Superior proofreading, editing, and redlining skills; Highly organized and detail-oriented.
