POSITION SUMMARY

The Transactions Management Analyst position is responsible for management and support of CoreVest business purpose mortgage related sale and security transactions. This position is also responsible for overall coordination and management of multiple processes to maximize the success of each transaction. The ability to successfully manage internal and external relationships is a vital skill for this role. The position requires experience with the mortgage industry, bulk and flow whole loan sales, and public / private security transactions. This position has a high level of interaction with internal parties (capital markets, underwriting, legal and compliance, IT, servicing, closing, and accounting) as well as external parties including loan buyers, brokers and document custodians.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Background experience in real estate is a plus
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to listen effectively and communicate ideas concisely
  • Ability to engage individuals and groups to surface essential requirements needed to complete transactions
  • Interpersonal skills to help identify priorities among appropriate stakeholders
  • Ability to cure, evaluate, summarize and communicate business purpose loan due diligence results and exceptions
  • Excellent organizational skills to ensure timely and accurate loan sale transaction settlements
  • Technologically savvy, with the ability to work in varied systems; Advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
  • Analytical thinking ability and professionalism
    A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 annually. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certification, and other factors. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate transaction related functions and requirements with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage transaction timelines with internal and external parties to ensure timely settlements
  • Work with the trade desk to communicate and distribute transaction loan populations and data files as required per the transaction documents and requirements
  • Lead kickoff calls and status update calls with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate with capital partner, third-party review team, and internal business units during diligence to facilitate efficient transactions.
  • Coordinate loan due diligence requirements with underwriting and summarize statuses with appropriate stakeholders
  • Coordinate the completion of reliance letters, data share agreements, and other due diligence documentation as needed
  • Draft bailees and trade confirmation once templates are approved by the legal team.
  • Ensure bailee letters are in place and collateral is shipped/received at the applicable custodian
  • Track and resolve collateral exceptions and certifications with third party custodians
  • Settle transactions in accordance with transaction contracts and coordinate wires with the accounting department
  • Work with the servicing vendor to ensure a smooth servicing transfer post settlement
  • Reconcile credit files and import data tape before delivering to third-party review vendor.
  • Track and resolve diligence exceptions with third party review vendor.
  • Review data compare from third-party review vendor and correct data-record systems.
  • Support securitization transactions as needed
  • Additional duties as requested by management
