Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Onsite, Full-Time)
Pay Rate: $35 – $38/hr

Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Canadian and international import/export regulations.
Monitor and interpret changes in trade laws and assess their business impact.
Classify imported/exported goods (HS Classification, ECCN).
File requests for remissions, drawbacks, and advance rulings.
Communicate with customs brokers, carriers, and internal/external stakeholders.
Validate and maintain the FTA database with supplier documentation.
Conduct tariff analysis and provide recommendations to the Customs Manager.
Liaise with government departments regarding customs rulings and post-entry amendments.
Navigate the CARM Portal and maintain the company’s PIP profile.
Review weekly/monthly customs invoices and coordinate payments with management.
Support training of new team members on customs processes.
Contribute to team operations, including setting priorities, scheduling, problem-solving, and decision-making.
What You Bring
Strong knowledge of Customs Compliance, Import/Export regulations, CARM, and PIP.
3–5 years’ experience in Canadian and U.S. import/export control compliance.
Extensive experience filing remissions, advance rulings, and drawbacks.
College Diploma in Customs and/or International Trade (required).
CCS/CTCS designation considered an asset.
Strong Excel skills (required).
Ability to organize and prepare reports/documents from multiple data sources.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
Lean Six Sigma certification is considered an asset.
