The Transcript Analyst is responsible to analyze and evaluate academic credentials submitted by students transferring to APSU from previous universities and colleges. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Evaluate academic transcripts from previous institutions of higher education. * Evaluate non-traditional credits such as military service experience, CLEPS, AP placements, ACE credit, ACT and experiential credit. * Assist current, prospective, and previous students with inquiries concerning transfer credit evaluations. * Serve as liaison between deans, department chairs, office of admissions, and students concerning articulation guidelines and transfer equivalencies between external associate's degree programs and the baccalaureate degree programs offered at the university. * Assist with graduation ceremonies. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Knowledge of general office and software applications * High level of customer service * Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. * Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with various populations, the University community and the public * Ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision; problem solve with little or no guidance; ability to multi-task. Required Minimum Qualifications * Minimum of an Associate's degree * Minimum of (1) year of experience in a customer service environment. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Decisive, consistent, and accountable   Physical Requirements * Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.   Austin Peay State University is a four-year public, doctoral-level university, with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence.
