About the Role Invicta Software is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Transcriptionist to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in transforming audio and video content into accurate, clear, and well-formatted written documents. Key Objectives Convert recorded audio and video files into written transcripts with high accuracy and attention to detail. Ensure transcripts are clear, well-structured, and adhere to company formatting standards. Collaborate with various departments to meet deadlines and support project requirements. Responsibilities Listen carefully to audio and video recordings and transcribe content verbatim or summarized as required. Review and edit transcripts for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and formatting consistency. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Manage multiple transcription projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to clarify unclear audio or instructions. Utilize transcription software and tools efficiently to enhance productivity. Ensure timely delivery of completed transcripts according to project specifications. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a transcriptionist or in a similar role. Exceptional listening skills and the ability to interpret various accents and dialects. Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Fast and accurate typing skills, with a minimum typing speed of 25 WPM preferred. Familiarity with transcription software and digital audio players. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
