Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: knowledgeable and conversant with medical and clinical terminology and be able to transcribe dictated notes from various sources. transcribe dictation for a variety of clinical sources (medical reports such as patient histories, physical examinations, emergency room visits, operations, chart reviews, consultation, and/or discharge summaries). review and edit transcribed reports or dictated material for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, and proper medical terminology. return dictated reports in printed or electronic form for physicians' review, signature, and corrections, and for inclusion in patients' medical records. answer inquiries concerning the progress of medical cases, within the limits of confidentiality laws. maintain a system log of documents transcribed and update the same on a regular-basis periodically meeting with doctors to resolve any dictation-related queries and provide feedback regarding their dictation, thereby assuring quality of transcribed reports Provide reception coverage as on need basis Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements: You should have: a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Science one year in-house training from any reputable healthcare organization or at least two years of related work experience excellent communication skills, particularly in spoken and written English typing speed of at least 40 words per minute excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications ability to operate transcription equipment. ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
