Description

The Registered Funds team of UMB works with clients to provide accounting, tax, audit, and administrative services for mutual funds and collective trusts.
The Transfer Agency team primarily handles the day to day contact for Fund Services’ clients. They manage and organize client launches, conversions, deconversions, and liquidations. This team has a deep understanding of products and how they work within a Transfer Agency
As the Transfer Agency Admin II, you will oversee the delivery of Transfer Agency services for designated clients, including boarding, reporting, billing and issue resolution. You will also work closely with Client Services to fulfill strategic needs and align potential UMB Fund Service product offerings.

How you will spend your time:

  • Participate in Sales meetings with prospective clients and assist in the development of the service offerings for the Transfer Agent
  • Responsible for more complex products or larger relationships
  • Acts as initial point of contact for transfer agency clients
  • Analyze, research, and respond to internal and external client inquiries
  • Display strong consultative skills by representing TA interests on all client on boarding calls/conversion information, fund events, and client events to ensure successful launches
  • Oversee projects, assuring projects are executed according to established deadlines and communicated to clients on a timely basis
  • Coordinate regulatory and non-regulatory mailings including outside vendor relationships ensuring deadlines are met
  • Produce daily, monthly, and quarterly shareholder statistics and performance reports
  • Compile/review monthly billing data for clients and provide to Financial Management
  • Complete broker dealer questionnaires
  • Acts as liaison to TA associates, TA Managers, and Client Service Team to assure delivery of highest possible services to the client and the client’s investors

  • You have at least three years of progressively responsible client interface experience with emphasis on relationship management in the transfer agency, mutual fund or financial services industry

Compensation Range:
$49,510.00 - $95,170.00
