Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is for a Transfer Pricing Director (Manager equivalent) within FTI Consulting’s Tax Advisory practice. The candidate will take ownership of the delivery of transfer pricing services and delegating work to the more junior people within the team. The role will involve managing a portfolio of multinational clients across a broad range of industries, ensuring excellent client service and identification of further work opportunities.
The role will involve working on a breadth of advisory projects across all technical areas of transfer pricing, including transfer pricing policy design, reviews and implementation, thin capitalisation analysis, transfer pricing in M&A transactions, and expert witness litigation. The role will also include working on transfer pricing documentation projects and benchmarking analyses. In addition, there will be an opportunity to take an active role in business development opportunities, both through involvement in proposals and attending networking events.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Exhibit strong project management to ensure timely delivery of work to meet deadlines
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
  • Manage WIP and billing for own clients, ensuring commercial recoveries
  • Engagement in business development activities
  • Liaison with the wider tax team and other service lines in respect of client work and potential business development opportunities
  • Training and management of more junior members of the team to deliver work and provision of feedback
  • Responsibility for adherence with the firm’s risk management procedures and some administrative tasks
