Job Title: Breaking Machine Loader Department: Processing Location: Lewiston, UT Reports To: Processing Manager Job Type: Full-time, 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM  Compensation: 21.00 an Hour Job Summary Working in an egg processing facility, the Breaking Machine Loader is responsible for loading flats of eggs onto the breaking machine and removing empty flats while ensuring the belts run efficiently. This role also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization around the breaking machine area. Essential Job Functions * Load flats of eggs onto the breaking belt with minimal jams * Remove empty flats from the belt after eggs have been loaded into the breaking machine * Salvage any eggs left on the flats * Maintain a clean breaking area floor by removing eggs and washing according to company specifications * Participate in cross-training and position rotation as required * Comply with USDA regulations, industry best manufacturing practices, and the Food Defense Program * Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications * 0-1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment * Ability to operate a pallet jack * Basic math skills for counting and measuring * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions * Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity * Attention to detail and quality consciousness * Basic understanding of safety procedures in a food processing environment * Ability to work effectively in a team * Time management skills to maintain production pace Preferred Qualifications * High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience * Bilingual, especially in Spanish * Previous experience in food processing or egg handling Work Environment This position requires the physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks involving twisting and bending. The role demands the capacity to walk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Set in an egg processing facility, the job may involve exposure to wet and slippery surfaces, necessitating caution and adherence to safety protocols.
